The Clearwater Marine Aquarium asked us to help improve their website and overall digital presence. Their existing website struggled to communicate the full range of experiences the aquarium offers and made it difficult for visitors to book and plan their visits. At the same time, the website lacked depth in communicating scientific research, global conservation work, and the scale of rescue operations, limiting donor engagement and mission transparency.

We developed a unified digital ecosystem with two focused platforms. For the main site, navigation was restructured to make attractions, experiences, and tickets immediately accessible, with a frictionless purchase flow designed for families. For the mission site, we created data-driven storytelling tools, including a custom interactive Rescue Map.

Our team migrated hundreds of pages to native Gutenberg, and I developed more than 30 custom blocks, giving content authors a richer, more flexible editing experience.

The rebuild improved performance, streamlined the visitor journey from exploration to purchase, and drove an immediate increase in ticket conversions.

Clearwater Marine Aquarium's mission platform needed a powerful way to communicate the scale and impact of its rescue, rehabilitation, and release work. I built a fully interactive, data-driven map that traces each animal's journey from rescue through rehabilitation to release. The component pulls data from the WordPress REST API and renders it as a responsive Vue.js application with smooth animations and complex filtering options.
